Open as a guesthouse since January 2011, the Padmini Haveli is a traditional southern Rajasthani house. This beautiful project sprung from the friendship between a Swiss couple Oliver and Anne-Marie and an Indian couple Sudhir et Parvati who undertook its renovation, and oversaw its execution by the villagers of Chitorghar.
Located in the centre of the old village of Chittor within the walls of Chittorgahr Fort, it overlooks temples and palaces. From the roof terrace, there are sweeping views of the city and the Aravalli hills beyond the Mewar plain.
Parvati and Sudhir Sukhwal and their beautiful children will welcome you to this amazing place and ensure that you have a delightful, traditional Indian experience for a few days whilst discovering the sights of Chittorgarh and soaking up the charming village atmosphere.
